Renowned Indian umpire Anil Chaudhary has heaped praise on legendary cricketer MS Dhoni for his accuracy while choosing the Decision Review System (DRS).
DRS is a cricket technique to challenge the decisions taken on the field. Whenever a team does not agree with the umpire's decision, they opt for DRS to get a decision in their favor.
Former Indian captain MS Dhoni, who has led the Indian team to three ICC titles, is considered to be one of the best users of this technique as whenever he goes up, he mostly gets it right.
Hence, Anil Chaudhary lauded Dhoni for making the best use of the DRS technology. Speaking on the '2 Sloggers' podcast, he admitted that it is usually tough for wicketkeepers to track what is happening on the other side of the stumps. Hence, as he said, Dhoni's ability to turn DRS calls in his favour deserves more praise and recognition.
Anil Chaudhary said, "MS Dhoni is very accurate, almost close to accurate - sometimes it happens that the keeper is left behind, even he is not able to see the position of the bowler - that is a different thing, but he is very intelligent.
